Bikers set out on 15-thousand mile journey for veterans
BEAVER DAM (WKOW) — One flag is traveling nearly 15-thousand miles with 150-thousand riders, over 110 days. The ninth annual Patriot Tour launched from Beaver Dam Saturday morning, on Armed Forces Day. During the tour, bikers carry the flag city-to-city through all 48 continental states to raise money for disabled veterans and their families.
Patriot Tour to help wounded vets kicks of May 27
On Saturday, May 27 at 10 a.m. an American flag will begin a 14,000-mile, 100-day journey across the U.S. raising funds for wounded veterans and their families. It’s called the Patriot Tour and it’s presented by the Nation of Patriots®, a national veteran nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to enhance the lives of wounded veterans and their families.
Nation of Patriots tour launches Saturday
The Patriot Tour launches Saturday. It is a 100-day, 14,000-mile journey during which motorcycle riders carry one American flag through the continental 48 states to raise money for wounded veterans and their families.
Nationwide motorcycle tour starts in Wisconsin to raise money for wounded veterans
The flag travels on the back of a motorcycle and is transferred to a new flag bearer at each destination along the route. At times, it will be escorted by as many as 500 motorcyclists.
